Terra is an art exhibit featuring installations with virtual and extended reality experiences created to reimagine environmental sustainability and how we can impact the health and future of our planet.
Seven rooms were created to tell visitors about the effects of human behaviour on the ecosystem and global problems such as drought, air pollution and micro-plastics. The WWF and Oceanic Global were involved in the creation of the seven rooms, verifying the accuracy and truthfulness of the content, and a collective of artists with a passion for the environment. and a collective of artists who share a passion for sustainability.
For Terra Streamcolors created the two video installations for the large Dome at the centre of the Mangrove Room, presenting the theme of Mangroves and Water Scarcity in an immersive and engaging way.
In the Mangrove Room, visitors are visually stimulated: thanks to a special app, they can frame the QR code and realise, through augmented reality, why mangroves are one of the most threatened ecosystems in the world. You can also use the app to animate the fish, rather than the animals, or make a donation to the organisation directly from your smartphone. You can also plant a tree. So many little things that put together can help the planet.
Focusing on individual empowerment, Terra uses relatable information to illustrate how our simple actions can make each of us part of a global solution.
