Due to the restrictions of covid 19 it was no longer possible to create large events and exhibitions to showcase the students’ thesis work, so with Istituto Europeo di Design University our digital art studio Streamcolors created IED AMAZE PROJECT.
IED AMAZE PROJECT is a metaverse that celebrates the creativity of young people by showcasing many different projects and it is updated every year with new projects.
“IED Amaze Project is an interactive gamified world, in which 3d generative art creates an iridescent and lively environment around the projects presented, able to make different design natures coexist in the same context – says Giacomo Giannella, founder and artistic director of Streamcolors – The experience is designed to provide different levels of access: from the quick consultation of content to the 3D experience of visiting, which through the two site-specific installations on display at IED (visors and arcade video game cabinet) will complete what has been started on the app at home.”
An app that let’s you dream about the most beautiful crafts, within the amazing experience of an interactive gamified world. The IED AMAZE PROJECT is the virtual travelling exhibition dedicated to the best thesis projects by students who have recently graduated from Istituto Europeo di Design.
By downloading it, you will be able to enter a large 3D wonderland where you can experience more than 30 projects from the areas of design, fashion, visual arts and communication, in an exhibition that emphasises the creative process rather than the finished product, a cross-cutting and shared design method.
These range from Product or Interior Design projects to Graphic creations or worlds constructed in CG animation; from short films and photo stories to innovative advertising campaigns or fashion marketing strategies; from preparatory work for fashion collections to fashion styling projects; from illustrated books to soundscapes.
You will be able to move, in an immersive way, along a path that is both guided and free access: by following an exhibition – subdivided into projects and accessible through quick menus; or by visitig the three-dimensional world through an intuitive guided touch tour; or by moving around freely in the environment. At your disposal over 3 hours of video content and a gallery of more than 350 images, photos, renderings, 3D models as well as sketches, boards and sketches from the making of the exhibition.
The aesthetics of the space and the avatar you explore with can be modified along the way through collectibles that you can choose to create different, unique and customised
environmental conditions. An amazing experience that can also be shared on social networks: you can take a snapshot at any time, and the exhibition will focus on your specific view of the world of IED.
